Share your experience with a business, school, hospital, or NGO on Ardent Reviews.
Ardent Reviews lets anyone with an account share an honest experience with a business, school, healthcare facility, or NGO listed on Ardent Africa.
Changing or removing your review
You can edit a review you wrote, or take it down, from Reviews I wrote in the app or from your account on the website. Editing keeps the date you originally wrote it.
Taking a review down also stops it counting towards the score. If a business has put something right, updating your review is usually fairer than deleting it, because the record of what happened stays visible.
Find the listing
- Go to Reviews and search by name, or browse by category.
- If the entity you're looking for isn't listed yet, it may still be reviewable as an unclaimed listing. Its owner can claim it later.
Write your review
- Open the listing and select Write a review.
- Rate your overall experience, plus any specific categories shown for that type of entity (for example, a hospital shows quality of care, wait time, and cleanliness; a school shows teaching quality, facilities, and safety).
- Add a short description of your experience. Optionally note your relationship (customer, patient, student, etc.) and when the experience happened.
Verified reviews carry more weight
If you were invited to review after a real interaction (by QR code, link, or email from the entity), your review is marked verified and counts more toward the entity's TrustScore. Reviews without an invitation are still welcome. They're simply weighted a little lower.
Reviewing Ardent Africa without an account
Reviewing a business, school, hospital, or NGO always uses your account. But reviewing Ardent Africa itself does not: after you donate to a cause, sign a petition, or attend an event, we may send you a one-time link to share your experience of the platform as a guest. Those guest reviews go through the same moderation as any other review before they appear.
After you post
- The entity can post one public response to your review.
- You can edit your review later; the edit history stays visible for transparency.
- Other users can mark your review "helpful."
- If something about a review seems wrong, use Report. Reports are reviewed by our team before any action is taken, and reviews stay visible while a report is pending so genuine feedback can't be silenced by a single complaint.
Writing reviews is free and doesn't require any payment.
